Saloon:
My attempt at making a old western saloon, complete with piano, bar, billiards, poker, and darts. I added sound to the saloon and trying to add more to the outside environment.
Made using Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine 4

I started this project with the idea of a western saloon, and quickly blocked it out using Unreal Engine 4. Then took the block out reference models into Autodesk Maya and actually modeled the set pieces and UV'd them.

I created the materials from some textures I had as well as making custom textures using Substance Painter for things like the piano keys and seat cushions.

The piano being one of my main set pieces, I made functional. All of the keys were seperated from the piano model, and are queued for playing when interacted with. Then queued keys are played, rotated, and removed from queue. Shortly later they return to the starting position.

Sound for walking and playing keys were added in, and just for kicks, all props in the environment are able to be kicked around and shot.

Spaceship Garden, Before & After:
As part of the process of learning how to create textures from scratch using Substance Designer and Substance Painter, I created a before an after scene of a spaceship interior garden, before and after a serious accident. The main focus was on the more organic elements like the trees, smoldering bushes, and flowers.
